Mom sent me this quote when I was in seminary. I think it speaks to who she was pretty clearly. She couldn't remember where she found it.
"A gracious person is a person who lives simply, but loves generously - serves faithfully, speaks truthfully, prays daily and leaves everything else to God."

ReplyDeleteOn Monday Oliver asked me if Nana was coming back. I said "No, she died, remember." He said, I know, but Jesus came back didn't he?" Came to mind today as I was preparing John 17:1-11 sermon.
